Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect during my visit?

Our health care provider will have blood work ordered for you to obtain before your initial visit. These lab results will be reviewed with you along with your symptoms, medical history, and your specific goals at your visit. We will be sure to answer all questions and address any concerns you may have. Our health care provider will determine a customized treatment plan specific for you and your goals.  Our clinic does not utilize any "one size fits all" treatment plans. Please allow 60 minutes for your initial appointment as we are very thorough!

What information do you need for my appointment?

Please have your driver's license, list of medications you take along with your medical history, & your form of payment.

How do I prepare for my blood work?

No ejaculation or sexual intercourse for 72 hours prior to your blood draw as this can falsely alter some of your test results. Avoid cycling for 72 hours prior to your blood drawAlso, drink about 1-2 bottles of water 2 hours prior to your blood draw, as well, to ensure sufficient hydration. Some blood tests require you to be fasting. Your health care provider will determine if you need to be fasting.

Does a consult appointment guarantee a prescription medication?

After reviewing your initial lab work results and medical history, your provider will determine what treatment is appropriate for you. Not everyone will qualify for prescription treatment, but alternative options may be available.

Will I need a follow-up appointment?
